China (Liaoning) International Education Exhibition, officially hosted by the Education Department of Liaoning Province, has been successfully held for eight years since the year 2000. In 2008, its 9th edition will be scheduled on 19-27 July, the most active season, when Chinese students are actively seeking for opportunities to study abroad.
The event also provides a great number of presentation given by institutions-participants and exhibition visitors rated it as one of the important reasons to attend the event.
Liaoning province is located in the South of the Northern China with a population of 42,710,000 people. Liaoning Province's proximity to the sea has given its commercial and strategic advantages throughout its history.
In 2006, the gross number of Chinese students from Liaoning province studying abroad reached 15,000, 10% of China’s total number. This put Liaoning province to the 4th place just after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong provinces.
