During the last several years the Baltic States (Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania) have become more attractive for education providers from all over the world. This is not a casual interest but a developing tendency proving that the potential and demand for educational industry abroad in the Baltic region is very high.
We would also like to invite everybody to visit the Latvia, Riga (March 20-21, 2009) and Estonia, Tallinn (March 22-23, 2009), where the only specialized educational fair in the Baltics is taking place.
This fair „The Days of International Education” was successful in 2005, 2006 and 2007 with the growing number of participants (30 in 2005, 42 in 2006, 49 in 2007) presenting their programmes and services. We are all convinced, that the potential for the development of the education abroad industry is very high in the Baltics and the demand for qualitative programmes will continue to grow. We are grateful to all the participants of the last two fairs, who admitted that only by applying the common efforts we will be able to promote the best institutions and programmes and will not allow to the market those interested just in gaining profit, without paying attention to quality.
After the Baltic States joined the European Union the demand for qualitative education programmes abroad has been increasing instantly. More and more young people, adults and top managers start considering good education as well as knowledge of one or several foreign languages as a foundation for success in business and career. Knowledge in academic and professional sphere gained in a prestigious foreign educational institution gives extra opportunities in modern highly competitive world. More parents start to realize the tendency of world globalization processes and start to form and develop language skills from the early childhood by sending their children to various language courses taking into consideration the possibility to get a prestigious education in the future.
