Overview

As one of the oldest business schools in the world – ESCP-EAP was formed in 1999 with the merger of ESCP (the first school in the world dedicated to business studies founded in 1819) and EAP (a multi-campus business school promoting European management education since 1973). Our multi-country organisation ranks seventh overall in 2007 in the FT’s best business schools in Europe.

International adventure

Unique in being the only business school with campuses in five different European countries (the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy), it is our mission is to develop business leaders with the knowledge and intercultural skills to excel in diverse economies across the globe.

Invaluable corporate experience

Each student undertakes at least a three-month company internship and company projects with leading international businesses, such as, J P Morgan, L’Oréal, AOL, Ernst & Young, Addison, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Global understanding

The multicultural mix of students (3,300 students representing over 90 nationalities), the international staff (125 multinational staff, 45 visiting staff and 700 guest lecturers from around the world) and the experience of living in different countries all contribute to the in-depth development of intercultural skills.

Enhanced knowledge

Drawing on the latest developments in the theory and practice of business, our innovative programmes aim to develop an integrated view of management, with a special emphasis on the perspective and skills of the general manager in an international context.

Unrivalled stimulation

Active participation and sharing of ideas and experience are the fundamental learning methods. Beyond this, methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, case studies, workshops, projects, presentations, computer-based activities, reading and private study, syndicate work and group assignments.

Career prospects

Career prospects for postgraduate students are excellent. A dedicated talent management department on each of our five campuses ensures that students are exposed to the top recruiters through compulsory company projects and internships. The approximate average starting salary of graduates from the Master in European Business programmes is £36,275 (based on June 2008 conversion of €45,530).
