Informativa is the first fair in Slovenia truly dedicated to education and educational institutions. Introduced for the first time in 2009, it has an ambition to become the largest event in the field of education in Slovenia and the first one to offer a complete overview of educational possibilities in the country as well as abroad to the interested public.
Informativa will offer information on the programmes of high schools, vocational colleges, undergraduate universities, universities, and other education centres and educational institutions. It will also present Slovenia’s leading scholarship givers and establish a connection between schools and companies, as well as offer a variety of other information important when deciding about future education – like information on dormitories, subsidies, where to get credit for schooling, insurance during the academic life etc. A special part of the fair exhibition will be dedicated to technical and other literature and different means of education for teachers, professors, experts and the interested public.
The time when the fair will take place has been carefully chosen. The date is set 14 days before the nation-wide open-door day at high schools, vocational colleges and universities. Informativa will therefore take place at a time of the year when young people of Slovenia are actively thinking about the next steps to take on their educational path and are very much looking for the information that will be on offer at the fair.
Although it is a brand new fair on Slovenia’s market, there is little doubt of its success. The marketing campaign is based on thorough market research and a strong marketing plan. A variety of different communication channels will be used for fair promotion – from direct invitations to educational institutions and other potential exhibitors to a nation-wide advertisement campaign in print media, on radio, TV, internet, on billboards, street banners in major cities across Slovenia, on free postcards, and on many other kind of media to inform the interested public about the event.
To make an educated decision one needs as much information as possible. When it comes to education, Informativa will be the first event in Slovenia to offer to the public just that – as much information about education on one place.
