International Education Fair in Pristina is a unique event where every Education Institutions can present their programs in the professional way.
This was proved during the two previous Fairs organized by CEO, the last Education Fair was held in Pristina from 07 – 09 May 2008.
This important event for the education sector was attended by a considerable number of educational institutions, Universities and Schools from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia etc. Participants from these educational institutions were represented by the highest managing structures.
The fair woke-up huge interest for everyone involved in the education sector from all levels, pupils, students and everyone else interested.
The fair was officially opened by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Enver Hoxhaj, and Mayor of Pristina, Mr. Isa Mustafa, in the presence of a large number of participants.

The Fairs Aims/Focus
Kosovo is at a new stage of transition in all areas.
Education sector is also undergoing a rapid development phase so that I can meet the demands of the all-inclusive transition.
Besides the public sector which is in the process of implementing the educational reforms in accordance to the Bologna Chart, the private sector as well has witnessed a huge push towards development.
Advancement of the private sector in education in Kosovo and in the region has increased competition between education institutions.
Besides many programs and study possibilities, now we have a progressive tendency in increasing the quality of studies making them more and more comparable to the quality of studies offered by European universities.
The modern concept of education process now is in correlation with economic development and its needs for certain fields.
Universities are working so that they can harmonize their syllabus with the demands driven by the economy, so that graduate students become attractive for the labour market not only in Kosovo but also in the region and further.
Education sector through diversified programs and quality studies should have an efficient answer to the challenges of globalization.
For this reason education is considered as one of the priorities of the Kosovo government and has special attention drawn to it.
Another very important and promising element for the development of this sector is the fact that Kosovo is a country with the youngest population in Europe.
This youth demands many opportunities and possibilities in order to get equipped with a modern education so that they can become a factor that will move forward the economic development of the country.
These were some general data related to the perspective of the educational sector in Kosovo.
In this context, CEO plans and has drafted concrete plans that in its activities, special attention should be given to the education fair in the coming years.
