About the Technion
Founded in 1924, the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, is one of the world’s top science and technology research universities. With Nobel Laureates among its renowned faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, the Technion was recently ranked the top 25th technology university in the world by the Times 2007 Ranking. The Technion is home to a culturally diverse student population of 13,000, with 49 undergraduate and 65 graduate programmes. Bachelor of Engineering (BSc.) programmes (4 years, 160 credits) in:
- Civil Engineering - This professional engineering discipline deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and natural built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.
- Water Resources and Environmental Engineering - The application of science and engineering to improve the quality and efficiency of use of our natural resources such as water, air and land, while respecting nature and reversing the impact of pollution.
- Transportation Engineering - The science of safe and efficient movement of people and goods. Transport engineering focuses on all aspects of the planning, design, operation and management of urban planning when it comes to air, road and rail travel as well as safe and adequate provision for pedestrians and alternative modes of transport.
Master of Engineering (ME) programmes (one year, 40 credits) in:
- Construction Management
- Environmental Engineering.

Admissions
We aim to attract the best and the brightest and offer a top quality academic programme combined with field experience and internship opportunities. To apply you must demonstrate both academic excellence as well as high personal abilities. The application criteria include:
- High school diploma – preferably with strong inclination towards Math and Physics
- TOFEL/IELTS English proficiency tests
- Personal interview
- Personal Essay.
Cost and Financial-Aid
The cost of the programme is $12,000 per year in tuition fees and an expected $10,000 in living expenses. Financial aid options are available for highly qualified students.

The International School offers a rich and lively campus life for its diverse student body with a variety of student associations, weekly social activities and full-service facilities.
