Terms of Use for Studycentral.co.uk
1. CONTENT
We try to make sure that the content and information on studycentral.co.uk is as accurate as possible. But things do change, so you might catch us out occasionally. If you spot any errors, please let us know! Send us an e-mail. Some of the information provided on this website is supplied by third party fair organisers and we can not be held responsible for any inacurricies that may occur as a result.
We try to make sure that the information you see on studycentral.co.uk is everything you could possibly want from us. If there's anything you think we can improve, please e-mail us via info@studycentral.co.uk.
2. USING THE STUDYCENTRAL WEBSITE
To use our website, we need you to agree to these terms and conditions, and any additional terms and conditions which shall apply to your use of studycentral.co.uk.
When using studycentral you agree:
- not to do anything which will or might damage, interfere with, disrupt access to, interrupt or impair the functionality of the material available on the sites
- to be entirely responsible for and keep secret any password used by you. You should change your password if you believe it's no longer secret
- not to post, distribute or otherwise upload any defamatory, offensive, infringing, obscene, indecent or otherwise unlawful or objectionable material or information or send any chain letters, junk mail, 'spamming' material or any other form of bulk communication
- not to threaten, harass, stalk, abuse, disrupt or otherwise violate the rights of others, including individuals' privacy rights;not to make any unauthorised, false or fraudulent orders, bookings or request for services
- not to obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to the sites or any private or member account areas on the sites
- not do, cause or permit anything to be done that may infringe, damage or interfere with any intellectual property rights of Studycentral or any of our associated companies or third parties. Also, not to do anything that is otherwise unlawful or which may cause any liability for us.
- You must not use the website for speculative, false or fraudulent bookings.
If you send us or post any material or other information to studycentral.co.uk you agree that Studycentral will not treat this information as confidential and we will be free to keep and republish this information and reuse it as we see fit. You agree to give up your rights to be identified as the author of this information and to object to any use of this information by us.
3. LIBILITY
a. We attempt to ensure that the information available on the website at any one time is accurate. However, when we operate as agents we cannot guarantee the accuracy of such information and that it will be fault-free.
b. Studycentral.co.uk does not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time.
c. The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
d. Studycentral.co.uk makes no representation and excludes any warranty, express or implied, as to the availability, quality, timeliness, performance or fitness for a particular purpose of any of the products or services purchased from studycentral.co.uk.
e. Studycentral.co.uk does not make any warranty that the website is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.
f. Studycentral.co.uk does not accept any liability for any losses or claims arising from any inability to access the website, any interruption in the conduct of any auction nor for any failure to complete a transaction.
g. Studycentral.co.uk does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss of any kind in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of the use of the website or for any products or services purchased from the website.
h. This Liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
4. BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If we consider that you have breached any of these terms and conditions or have otherwise demonstrated inappropriate conduct when using the Studycentral site we reserve the right to:

warn you via e-mail that you have breached these terms, and ask you to stop such conduct

delete any material or content which you may have posted without notice to you

discontinue your membership to studycentral.co.uk and/or any other related subscriptions to additional services offered through Studycentral; and
-
take measures (including terminating, suspending or restricting your access) to prevent you from using studycentral.co.uk.
Terms of Supply for Studycentral Services
1. BOOKING EXHIBITION/FAIR PACKAGES
When you purchase an Exhibition Product please remember that, in addition to these terms, you can also be subject to the terms and conditions of the third party supplier, such a supplier could include an exhibition organiser and a hotel. Please contact our team who will be able to provide those terms and conditions to you. The booking form is an invitation to buy.
Please note, some of our Exhibition Products are sold "subject to availability" what this means is that we do not confirm your order immediately (your first confirmation e-mail will just be an acknowledgment of order) but we will pass your details onto our suppliers who will check to see if the Exhibition Product is available, if it is we will book it for you, if its not we will revert to you directly.
a. Charges for participation - The charge for participation is as shown on the Exhibition/Fair Booking Form.
b. Payment for participation at the exhibition and services - The Exhibitor shall pay a full amount by cheque or bank transfer within 14 days of the date of the invoice issued by Studycentral. In case of booking 30 days before the event, the participation at the exhibition and booked services has to be paid in full on the same day or next consecutive day by "same day" or urgent bank transfer and confirmed by a copy of payment to Studycentral by e-mail or fax.
If full balance is not paid by allocated date, Studycentral can't guarantee an allocated space and any applicable discounts. Studycentral has the right to charge a full price after the Exhibitor will fail to pay in full within the payment term of Studycentral’s invoice. If payment is not received by the exhibition opening the Exhibitor has to pay 1% penalty calculated from the full amount of the booked exhibition participation and services per every overdue day excluding discount(s).
c. Cancellation of bookings - If, after booking exhibition/fair participation as part of a package, an Exhibitor shall desire to cancel their booking, they must give written notice to Studycentral that they desire to do so. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total charge for the booking can be refunded to Exhibitor if the cancellation was officially made not later than 90 days before the start date of the exhibition/fair in the booking. The refund of any individual services/ products booked on their own or in a package is not possible. No refund will be given for bookings of exhibition/fair participation cancelled within the 90 days before the start date of the exhibition/fair in the booking. The cancellation of bookings for advertising in-print or online are non-refundable.
d. If you send us your cancellation in writing, cancellation is not immediate, studycentral.co.uk will respond to you within 24 hours of receipt of your e-mail. Please take this 24 hour turn around time into consideration when putting your cancellation in writing.
e. Cancellation and alterations to exhibition participation by the Organiser - Whilst every endeavour will be made to adhere to the published dates, venue, schedule, duration and content of the Exhibition, the Organisers shall be entitled to slightly vary venue, content, schedule and dates of the exhibition, if in their opinion, this is in the general interest of the Exhibition.
In the event of the above-mentioned alterations, the agreement to participate shall remain in force so long as the Exhibitor is informed at least one month before such changes will take place. In the event of cancellation of the Exhibition by the Organiser due to the low number of exhibitors, the Exhibitors will be entitled to the exhibition total fee. Studycentral shall be under no liability to the Exhibitor in respect of any other claims, losses, costs or expenses whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by the Exhibitor because of the Exhibition cancellation. The cancellation for the exhibition will not affect other services and products on their own or as part of the package. The Exhibitor is still fully responsible to pay services and products booked in full.
f. Bankruptcy or liquidation - In the event of an Exhibitor becoming bankrupt or (being a company) entering into liquidation other than for the purpose of reconstruction or amalgamation, or having a receiver appointed, Studycentral shall be at liberty to terminate forthwith the contract with such an Exhibitor and to cancel the allotment of exhibition space to the Exhibitor, and all sums paid by the Exhibitor under the contract shall be forfeited.
2. BOOKING ADDITIONAL NIGHTS AT THE HOTEL/CANCELLATIONS OF ADDITIONAL NIGHTS/AMENDMENTS
Please note: Photo identification of the person whose name is on the booking must be provided when checking in the hotel.
a. In the event that you would like to cancel or amend your additional nights hotel booking, the hotel's cancellation policy will be available on your confirmation e-mail or as stated at the time of booking.
b. If the cancellation policy is not displayed within your confirmation e-mail and you wish to cancel your reservation, it is your responsibility to notify studycentral.co.uk in writing at least 7 days prior to the expected check in date.
c. Studycentral.co.uk applies an administration charge fee of £20 per booking for any modifications, changes or cancellations to your additional night hotel reservation. This will be regardless of the price of your reservation.
d. In addition to the studycentral.co.uk charges, most hotels may also have a penalty or cancellation fee for any changes or cancellations to reservations. This can be calculated from the date of amendment / cancellation to the date of arrival, alternatively one set fee. Customer Services will advise you if you decide to proceed with the changes.
e. If you send us your cancellation in writing, cancellation is not immediate, studycentral.co.uk will respond to you within 24 hours of receipt of your e-mail. Please take this 24 hour turn around time into consideration when putting your cancellation in writing.
f. Prices stated are on per room, per night basis and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
g. Please be aware that the hotel room photos are only a depiction of the type of rooms on offer and may not represent the actual room described.
h. Unless otherwise stated, breakfast, lunch and dinner are not included.
i. Star ratings may differ according to the country where the hotel is located and are out of the control of Studycentral.co.uk. Therefore Studycentral.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any misconceptions relating to star ratings.
j. When booking travel arrangements our contract with you begins when you receive the confirmation e-mail stating that we have received your order. Once the contract is made we are responsible for providing the travel arrangements you have booked and you are responsible to us to pay for them. In parties of two or more people the person who makes the booking accepts responsibility for making payments to us for all members of the party.
3. FAILURE OF SERVICE
a. Studycentral shall not be liable for any loss sustained by the Exhibitor directly or indirectly attributable to the cancellation, suspension or reduction of duration of the scheduled Exhibition from the period advertised or specified due to:
i. Force Majeure.
ii. Acts of War, Military Activity, Municipal, Statutory or Civil Authority requisition.
iii. Fire, flood, typhoon, excessively inclement of weather, earthquake, or a combination of the same.
iv. Damage caused by an aerial object or aircraft.
v. Strikes or lockouts by workmen.
b. If the Exhibition is cancelled, reduced or postponed then and in such event the unit costs paid to the Studycentral, or any part thereof may be refunded at the sole discretion of Studycentral to the Exhibitors, but without prejudice to the Organiser's right to appropriate the entire sum or any part thereof for expenses they have already incurred for the Exhibition.

5. PASSPORT/VISAS/HEALTH REQUIRMENTS
a. Any visa, passport and inoculation requirements are your responsibility and failure to obtain the relevant documentation is not the responsibility of studycentral.co.uk.
b. Where your exhibition package includes overseas travel, we can only advise of the requirements for British passport holders. All requirements should be checked with the relevant Embassy of the destination country. A valid 10-year passport is necessary for all our exhibition packages. Some overseas countries have an immigration requirement that your passport is valid for a minimum period after you enter that country, typically 6 months. If your passport is in its final year of validity, we advise you confirm the requirements of the destination before making final travel plans. You should apply for a passport or to renew an expired passport at least four weeks before travelling.

5. VISAS
a. You should contact your Embassy for information and advice on the visa requirements of the countries you propose to visit. Please note: Passport and visa regulations can change and you should therefore check with the relevant embassy well in advance of travel, even if you have travelled to this destination before. It is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport and, if appropriate, a visa. It can often take some time to obtain a visa, so you are advised to apply in plenty of time. We accept no responsibility for customers who do not possess the correct documents.
6. HEALTH
a. Facilities, hygiene and disease risks vary worldwide. You should take health advice about your specific needs as early as possible. Sources of information include the Department of Health's free leaflet "Health Advice for Travellers", you’re GP or a specialist clinic. For the most up-to-date essential information on your choice of destination and to ensure you make the most of your trip abroad, we recommend you visit the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) website at www.fco.gov/uk/knowbeforeyougo
7. INSURANCE
a. You must in all cases take out adequate travel insurance through your company, a travel agent or other approved insurance supplier.
8. CHANGES
a. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you, it is your responsibility to inform studycentral.co.uk as soon as possible.
9. LIABILITY
a. We attempt to ensure that the information available on the website at any one time is accurate. However, when we operate as agents we cannot guarantee the accuracy of such information and that it will be fault-free.
b. We cannot be responsible for goods and services offered by us as agents for third party Vendors or for any aspect of the relationship between you and that third party.
c. Studycentral.co.uk does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time.
d. This Liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
10. MISCELLANEOUS
a. You accept financial responsibility for all purchases made under your name or account.
b. You must make sure that all the information you provide to us is true and accurate.
d. This user agreement is between you and studycentral.co.uk and is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may provide links to other websites, resources, advertisements or sponsorships either directly or through our contractual partners. We hope that you find these links useful... or at least a bit of fun!
If you decide to access other websites, then you will be leaving studycentral.co.uk - that means that we won't be responsible or liable for the content, advertising or products or services available from such sites or, for any dealings that you may have, or the consequences of such dealings, with the operators of those sites. Should a dispute arise between you and any third party, we'll do our best to help you resolve it, but we can't be responsible for any loss or damage.
We expressly reserve the right to withdraw our consent, at any time, to a link that we think is inappropriate.
