Faculty of Economics and Business

The faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Groningen offers a wide range of fully accredited Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree programmes taught in English. If you choose to study economics or business in Groningen, you are choosing:

  • High quality of teaching: Every module and study programme is evaluated constantly in order to guarantee the quality of teaching.
  • An international study environment: a growing proportion of our researchers, lecturers, and students come from abroad.

Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences

The faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences provides high quality education and research covering all the behavioural and social sciences (Psychology, Sociology and the Educational Sciences).

The faculty has approximately 3500 students and conducts both fundamental and applied research. The faculty has a Bachelor/Master structure that is designed to appeal to motivated and talented students from all over the world and it employs some 500 academic and non-academic staff.

The campus of the faculty is located near the heart of the city of Groningen and has well-equipped teaching rooms and its own library with over 80.000 books and journals, and has internet access to all electronically available scientific journals published by the major publishers. Research is conducted in modern laboratory and experimentation facilities.
